Room keys and tickets

I'm staying on property but buying tickets from an outside source(arestravel). Will they(can they sync) my tickets and my key to one card when I get to the resort? Or do I have to use two separate cards the whole time?

I got paper tickets for the park and had the usual plastic hotel key when I stayed on property the last time.

They don't put any admission media on room keys, they're always separate. You do need to show a room key for EMH/MM in addition to a park ticket or AP, but otherwise you can just use your ticket for admission.

Your room key can be used for charge back privileges but unlike WDW, your room key does not link to your tickets at DL. They are separate.
