Can you use your resort room key to "charge" food (like the souveniers)? If so, where? A little OT... what else can you "charge?" Thanks!

You can use your KTTW card which is your room key at most of the restaurants or counter service locations in WDW. The only place I don't think it could be used is the McDonald's locations at Downtown Disney and the one in between the All Star Resorts and Blizzard Beach. I am not sure if there are any other locations in WDW that do not accept it and if there is, hopefully someone else knows them.

We have "charged" spa treatments, parasailing and our Illuminations cruise on our keys also.

As a general rule, you can use it almost anywhere for anything on Disney property...in fact, it would probably be much easier for people to post where you CANT use it instead of where you CAN. Disney wants you to use it far & wide because it keeps you from thinking about $ and how much you're spending on your vacation (and I'm fond of helping them continue their profitability)...:)

To be clear about this, Yes, you can charge anything at any Disney-owned venue (stores, shops, non-moving carts, restaurants, eateries, booths, etc) in either the parks or any of the resorts, as long as it has a card reader. The only Disney-owned places you can't charge things to are those without card readers, such as mobile carts and roving vendors.

However, to use this feature must tell the CM when you check in and have it enabled. By default, room charging is NOT enabled.
