Room key/PHPP

I leave in 5 days WOOHOOO!!! And just got my park hopper plus pass from the ta, and was wondering if when I get to my resort (All Star Movies), when I check in, I can have my passes put on the room key, or is that only if you buy passes when you get there, or just the Ultimate Park Hoppers?? The less papers, the better I say!!!

Go ahead and ask when you check in, but be prepared to be told no.

My understanding is that you must buy the passes at check in to have them put on your key. Of course, if you do that, you cannot get the advance purchase discount.

The fastpass issue is a good question. I seem to recall it had to be a plastic key.

I was under the impression that the park hoppers are all plastic cards. Only the Annual pass is a paper ticket.

Am I correct?

You get paper PHP all the time and they are printed on the same media as AP's - all can be used in the Fastpass machines no problem. Personally I prefer to keep them separate anyhow, I see it as splitting the risk of losing rather than doubling it. I'd hate to lose my room key, charge card <i>and</i> entry ticket all in one swoop.

If I am checking in on Tuesday, and don't buy my PHPs until Thursday, can I still put them on my room key?

You definately CAN use the paper tickets in the fast pass machines. We have dones so many times.

Also, you can SOMETIMES have passes you bought in advance someplace else put on your room key when you arrive. We have been able to do it sometimes, and sometimes we haven't. I think it just depens on whether or not the person checking you in knows how to do it. We do it when we can because it is easier just to carry the one card.
