Room Key & DDP Question

I have been reading everything I can find and I have not found the answer to this question.

From an administration point of view how does this work? I understand that the credits are on the room key, but for a large party (4 adults, 2 kids) staying on DVC points in a 2 bedroom villa, how will this work? Will each of us have to bring our room key with us each time? or can the DDP be accessed through any of the room keys?

As an example, one day the guys and girls are splitting up (golfing for the guys and shopping for the girls). The guys will be having lunch separately, so as I understand it, the guys can each present their room key and we can present ours. But when we all eat together, do we all have to present our room keys or can all of our credits be accessed from one room key since we are all in one room?

We had 8 people in a 2br in april. The credits were accessed from any card. There were times (mostly CS meals) that we split up and used our own cards to pay for our own portion of the group. When we all ate together, we only gave one card.

I don't know if any of that will change with the apparent restructuring of the plan as far as keeping track of kids' and adults' credits separately, but that is how it worked for us.

From the "initial reports from the field" under the new system, all credits are still on all cards. All they new system is doing is making sure that no more than the indicated number of adult meals are redeemed over the course of one meal, and over the course of the entire visit.

Even when you split into two parties, you will need to present only one card for each meal. The big computer in the sky takes care of the rest.
