Room Key as Park Pass too, if AP?

Hi All!

This trip will be the first time we have/use an Annual Pass! (hoping this means more trips every year!!)

In the past, our room key was also our park pass (in addition to charging).

Since we will now have an AP, does that mean my room key will be just for entering the room and charging back to the room, and then I'll have to use my AP as my park ticket to enter the park daily?
