Room Help/Upgrade??

Hi,
We booked our first Disney Cruise (yipee!) for 1/22/05. We got adjoining Cat 9 outside rooms on the first deck. I did that because the space worked out and the rooms had the BIG 3 foot port holes.

I came to find out that those rooms do not have the big porthole windows but the small ones.

I'm very disappointed because I thought our kids DS 9/8 and DD 5 woud love the view.

The agency said there were no more Cat 9s available? Can i do anything when I get on the ship? Does Disney ever upgrade?

A quick check at Expedia also shows no cat 9 available for assignment - GTY only. You could consider paying to go up to one cat 4 cabin. My guess is that DCL would not be able to upgrade you and keep connecting cabins. Since you are more than 60 days out, maybe you could consider booking a different date?

as I have only been on 1 Disney cruise, but aren't all the cat 9's on deck 2 with the 2 portholes? Would'nd they have to go up to Cat 8 to get the big window??? I though that was the difference in the two catagories?

Anyone know for sure?

Disneymommie, The cat. 9's on deck 1 have the 2 portholes, all the cat 9's on deck 2 have the large porthole.You can see pictures of them at ********************** .
