Room for family of 5

My coworker is looking at possibly staying at a villa for his trip. He is a family of 5; him, spouse and 3 children (under age 10). Would they fit in any of the DVC studios? He doesn't want to spurlge on a big room which I told him were more spacious and offered more but his reason is that they will not be in the room that often.

If they have a child under 3 can't they stay in a studio that only allows 4?

Some of the studios will allow 5, but only provide bedding for 4. If you're willing to bring your own air mattress, sheets, and pillow, you can stay in some resorts. But thats a pretty tight squeeze.

Not quite right - you are thinking of the one bedroom villas that sleep 4.

As Debbie B posted, the studios that allow 5 have a pull down Murphy bed for the 5th person.

Yes. Its a tight fit, but its permissable.
