Do rooms at GCH hold five people? How about the other two Disney hotels? We are planning our first trip to DLR, and I haven't found a site yet that gives this info.

Thanks!

The max # of people at all 3 DLR hotel non suite room is 5. PPH & DLH both have sofabeds with their 2 queen/double rooms. GCH is doesn't. They have a 2 queen/double bed or a 1 queen/double bed with a bunkbed and trundle.

With five people, you're better off at the DLH or the PPH. The rooms are a bit larger than the rooms at the GCH, and they have 2 queen beds and a day bed (most rooms have a day bed). Plus, they have plenty of room for a rollaway bed as well.

At the GCH, really the only regular rooms that could fit 5 people are the rooms with 1 queen bed/bunk bed/and a trundle. This would work well with parents and three smaller children (not teenagers because the bunk beds and trundle would be rather short for teens). Other than that, you'd have to get a room with 2 queens and a rollaway, but it would be a tight fit.

We stayed at the DLH in 1990 and there were 5 of us. My DM and DD had one bed and my DSisters shared another bed and I had the daybed. We were all teenagers and one of my sisters actually slept in the bathtub because she couldn't stand my parents snoring!

Thank you so much! All of your replies were a huge help. It's great to know what all our options are. It does sound like GCH would be a bit of a squeeze (none of us are young enough to fit the bunk beds).

We are a family of five and are staying at the GC in November. We requested a room with a daybed for that little extra room for us.

We've stayed at both the DLH and the GCH with 5 people. The DLH rooms are much bigger and having the daybed worked out perfectly. The bathrooms there are bigger too! We love the Grand, but it's a tight squeeze with 5. We did't get a daybed room at the grand because they only have them with parking lot views and we wanted a theme park view.

I didn't think GCH had daybeds in their rooms. I think those are only in DLH & PPH. My parents had a parking lot view next door to us at GCH and their room only had 2 queen beds. My sister had a theme park view and she too only had 2 queens. No daybeds.

There are only a few rooms with the day bed and they are all in the section where there is no view.

Yes, thank you tlovesdis. Do you happen to know where the wheelchair-accessible rooms are in the GCH and what they are like?

That's true! Our theory is we spend so little time in our room if we want a view we will leave the room lol
