Room Discount Question!

DD is a cast member ( regular part time) and this is the first time she is trying to book a hotel room for a friend. Am I correct in that she has to book the room to get the discount for them? Does she have to be there on check in or can she show ID prior to or after check in?

Shw has to book it through the hub for them and then if she is not staying in the room (friends and family discount) she just has to run past the hotel withing 10 days of check in to show her ID. Does have to be before check in though (or at if she wants).
