Room darkening curtains

Does anyone know if the BLT rooms have room darkening curtains? We are considering a DVC purchase and stayed at BCV last week to help us with the decision. We noticed the curtains let a lot of light in and it was a bit more difficult getting the kids to nap than it was at the Poly. It's certainly not a deal breaker for our decision...just curious. Thanks!

BLT does not have sheers on the window so there are only curtains and they are a heavy silk fabric with a lining. The room was pretty dark with the curtains drawn.
I prefer to have some natural light in the room, so this was a big drawback for me.

The majority of the POLY building face North - South, so you wouldn't get a lot of sun in your windows. The BCV face East or West - so depending on the time of day you would get a great deal of sun. So the front of BLT - MK view - will receive morning sun and Lake View - afternoon sun. I'm using the summer sun as an example.

My Father taught me this trick - carry clothes pins with you. You close the curtains in the middle with the clothes pins - really darkens up the room.

I totally sympathize with the need for room-darkening curtains - it's a must!

So the front of BLT - MK view - will receive morning sun and Lake View - afternoon sun. I'm using the summer sun as an example.

Do you have this backwards? Don't the MK views face west and Lake view face east? The sun rises in the east, which would give you morning sun on the lake/pool view and sets in the west, which would give you afternoon sun on the MK side. This seems to match up with the shadowing on the pool in the afternoon that can get chilly - the sun is on the MK view side of BLT casting a BLT shadow on the pool.

With regards to the curtains, what BLT needs is some woom lightening curtains. We had a 1st floor standard and couldn't leave the curtains open because everyone walking by could see inside. So we had hardly any natural light, which kind of stunk.
