Room Credit Question

I understand that the room credit for the Castaway Club has been discontinued unless you rebook while onboard. However I am not sure if I rebooked before this change was made. I cruised in early April and rebooked shortly afterwards. Anyone know the best way to find out for sure. Also, if you change your ressie (different cat. room) will you lose your credit? Do they consider this a completely new reservation if the room changed?

Donna, on board, told us that we could change our ressie to any category and we would still get $200 onboard credit since we booked while on the cruise.

Tell me more about this room credit. I never heard of it, other than getting a gift and captain's reception for returning cruisers. Am I missing something here?? I am also a Castaway Club member! You think I would have known about a $200 credit.. Please enlighten me

Jeff, originally once you sailed you became a member of the Castaway Club. If you rebooked and cruised within a certain timeframe they would apply a $200.00 onboard credit to your account when you sailed ($200 for a 7 day).

Now they changed the policy and the only way to get the credit would be to rebook another DCL cruise while you are onboard.

Hope this makes sense.
