Room competition issue...

I just wanted to ask my question here before I used Contact Us, in case anyone else has/has had this problem...

We're supposed to title the rooms "Gingerbread House (player name)"...

So mine would be:
Gingerbread House capturedbygrace

My problem is, there is a limit in the room title line and I can't fit mine in.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation?

I think I'll use Contact Us, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight...

I had the same problem. I renamed my room Gingerbread House Princess because Gingerbread House Princesspaloma was too long. When I registered, I notated that in message. I hope they accept it

This is an issue VMK needs to address. I registered fine, without problem. Went into VMK to make sure my title fit in the room name, and whaddya know, it doesn't. The ldD doesn't fit, so my room cannot be titled what it is supposed to be, per contest rules. Many of us are having the same problem. VMK needs to address this and tell us players with longer titles what in the world we are supposed to do. If we can't compete because of this, well, that's just plain ridiculous. Hopefully it will be addressed and fixed soon.

Some might be able to, but for me, it won't allow me to. SorcererDona isn't acceptable according to the dictionary.

If they don't clear it up soon, I will pass on my stuff to my mom and dad who are also competing. No point in me bothering if it won't be judged anyway.

I love the game and the staff but come on now..
This competition thing is already so confusing making us all worry that the slightest mistake is going to get is Disqualified...
For a game that is supposidly "Geared towards kids" They make it awful hard to play.

This is the best idea, but some people have nothing you can type in vmkk as part of their titles. That is what we are doing for my daughter. She picked her title, it just happens to be long - however I would bet most of the new auto picked VMK titles are too long.

The first character I created on vmk was through their generator, and that is the one I play most on. I am sure it will be too long for them...so I guess I will have to use "contact us."

Well I had no problem signing up my daughter's character (Angelicasparkle) until I realized that her name is also too long and I can't name her room correctly. It won't let me even do part of her name. This is just real frustrating and I'm sure there have to be a lot more people who also have long names. I think this contest is a wonderful idea but it seems they didn't plan it very well. So now I'm left with what do I tell a child who might work hard on building her room only to not have it judged. What have the rest of you decided to do? Has anyone gotten a response back?

"With your name." Does that mean your name in the title or a room titled Gingerbread House associated with your title? sigh...

Sparkle, I haven't decided what to do yet as I am in the same boat as your DD. I have an idea for a concept, but it will take a lot of time and credits. So for now I am focusing on credit earning; will wait until maybe Thursday before I decide one way or the other what to do.

Oh I didn't see your post above mine. This still does not clear things up for me. So do you think they mean just name the room Gingerbread House and they will find us by our owner name? They confused me by saying "with your name" because again it makes it sound like they want the name after Gingerbread House. I really think they need to clarify this better and put something on the homepage about it.
