Is it possible for people in large rooms (such as the Grand Villa) to put separate credit cards on room keys for charging?

It would really help us with our vacation next year.

No- the room will have one card listed for charges ... BUT ...

each card has a unique number and each charge will be identified by that number on the statement. At checkout, the desk will help you total the charges for each card and those totals may be paid separately by the different parties.

It's not a problem to do this at all. Another option would be to not allow charge privileges on all cards. Credit cards are accepted everywhere the room id's are valid.

AFAIK, you can only put one card down for charging to the room through the room key. They'll let you put charging priv's on all 12 room keys. Fortunately credit cards are easy to carry (and just as easy to lose as the room key).
