We are staying a moderate hotel and I know that the charging limit at this hotel is 1000.00. I want to know if the credit card I link to my room key has a limit of 500.00 will that be all we can charge. We will be paying at the end of our trip with our Check card but I don't want to link that to our room for safety reason. Thanks in advance for any info given.

Disney will submit your charges to your CC when you either reach that $1000 limit or you complete your stay (whichever comes first). You will want to keep track of your spending and any possible charges just to make sure that you don't get close to that trigger amount. You can always stop by the front desk at any point during your stay and make a cash payment on your room account so that you don't exceed the limit on your CC.

Thank you. for the help. Last trip we just paid cash but this time will be paying for some of our dining and take home goodies! Just didnt know exactly how it works

Another option if your worried about using your cc, pull the money out of your debit/checking beforehand and get a traveler's check. You can cash that at the front desk and put cash on your room to "charge" against. Anything not used will be refunded as cash at check out.
