Room Charging priveledge ???'s

The room charging priveledges are the coolest! I have some questions though. I am sure you all have the answers.

Can EVERYTHING be charged....big or small?

I am even talking about a pop, popcorn, a turkey leg, etc from the little cart vendors?

The carts in the evening that carry kids junk (glow sticks, etc)?

Any experience with lost items or items not making it to your room?

I learned from experience. We were shopping in DTD and had a bunch of packages and decided to sent them to the hotel. I do not know what prompted us to ask when they would be delivered but the answer was in 2 days...we would of been long gone.

As a general rule of thumb, you can charge to the room in the same places they'll take a credit card.

The folks with the glow sticks, and the turkey leg vendors can't (not won't, but can't) take the room key simply because they don't have the terminal to swipe it.

But there are some carts that will accept it. I know the cart that sells villains/spooky souvenirs outside of the Haunted Mansion takes credit cards.

We used our room key, for almost everything.

I don't think we could use them, and the carts that move around. We did use them at counter service, and stationary carts though. Sometimes it was just for a drink or two, or an ice cream bar. My kids used their disney $$ for their little things like light spinners etc., so I never checked.

Charging priv. were great though. I wasn't sure at first, but it made it so much nicer. I don't use much credit, but more debit cards, so being able to leave them in the room, made me feel much better plus not having to keep track, and making lots of entries into my checkbook was nice.

We were verry pleasantly suprised, by the fact that we were spending less than expected. When we would go get our totals, throughout the week, they were always much lower.
