Room Charges

My husband & I love the convenience of charging everything back to our room, but someone just told me that everything you charge to your room is charged at the higher "occupancy" tax rate?

Is this true?

Not true. I always use room charge. I just rechecked my receipts and the tax is 6% (checked MK, MGM, DtD, OKW receipts).
