Room change question

With check out 11am and check in 4pm, what happens when you have to change rooms at the BWV during your stay? Can you go straight to the new room, or are you on your own until checkin?

I try to "cheerfully" remind the front desk the day before, that I will be "homeless" when I change rooms and would appreciate any consideration to get the new room as early as possible. I also repeat the reminder the next day when I'm ready to vacate my room. Sometimes they are able to accommodate me immediately and sometimes it is still 4 when the new room is ready. It can't hurt to ask (with a BIG smile on your face!), but don't be disapointed if they can't get it ready when you'd like. Good Luck!

The bellhops are also very accomodating when you need to wait to get to your room. We've been allowed to get to our luggage sometimes more than once to get items that we realized we need.

But I have had smiling big also work for me when I need a room sooner than 4pm.
