Room category descriptions updates?

Is there any official press release or news articles about the change of words for room categories? I’m looking at VGF deluxe studios and see ‘resort’ and ‘preferred’ instead of ‘standard’ and ‘lagoon’. I’m curious if it’s a one for one change or if some rooms are ‘preferred’ views but not ‘lagoon’.

This happened a few weeks ago. Speculation is they changed the categories to match cash room descriptions (non DVC). Standard rooms are now resort view and lagoon are preferred. Still same number of rooms in each category, just a different name.
