ok I need some help... I got my stuff to start the letter of agreement and I'm a little confused on figuring out the room block.

We are inviting 125 people mostly all from out of state.
We picked Allstar music, port orleans & Wilderness Lodge...

My wedding is a thursday...

When should i really start the block and how many nights... i know a majory will stay at all star and port orleans...

This is so confusing  .. if anyone can message me a copy of theres or explain it to me i would so appreciate it...

Thanks

We started our room block about a week before our wedding (I believe on a Sunday). Our wedding is on a Friday and so lots of our guests were going to stay the week and then leave a day or so after the wedding.

My suggestion, if this is possible, is to try to talk to your guests to get a feeling of what they are thinking. That helped us a lot.

Also, if they book early, it typically will not really matter when your block begins. One of our guests wanted to come on the day before our block began and they were able to book without a problem. However, if they wait to book, it could be a problem if there are not any rooms available at a discount.

Hope this helps!

Also, you can change your room block later if you need to - I mean the allotment of the rooms. They understand that you aren't gonna know right away where and when everyone is staying. You kind of just have to make your best guess!
