Room Block-All Disney hotels count?

We have around 30 rooms blocked. Do these have to be booked at the three hotels we chose, or can they be booked at any Disney owned and operated hotel? Is this the same of different for the free room night? Also, if a guest stays at the Swan and Dolphin will that count towards anything?

Your guests can stay at any Disney owned and operated hotel (including Disney Vacation Club resorts) and it will count toward the room guarantee. If they don't stay at the ones in your block, their reservation numbers will have to be manually added to your block to count, but they WILL count toward your free night. The Swan & Dolphin are not owned by Disney, so they don't count.

Shades of Green also does NOT count toward the room block....found that one out the hard way (I have a lot of military family).

Yeah, Disney sold it to the government a few years back. But at least your relatives are getting a screamin' deal on their rooms!

Does anyone know about what the nightly cost for a standard room at Shades of Green is? I would like to recommend it to some military family but would like to give them some idea of the cost before doing so.
