Room Availability

DW and I are planning to cruise in October, 2006, and I saved an itinerary on the DCL web site. When requesting to select a room (Catagory 11), I was only given about 7-8 rooms to choose from, none which I wanted.

Since DCL only gives me 8 rooms to choose from, does this mean that there are only 8 rooms left in Catagory 11 on the Ship? Or does DCL hold back on rooms?

Also, if I don't select a room now, can I request a room later? Would calling and talking to someone give me more options?

Any comments or opinions or experiences are welcome and appreciated!

DCL will only show up to 8 rooms available, though there might be more available. If you go to the bottom of the room choices, there should be a blank input area that you can select and put in the room number of your choice. If it is available it will pop up as one of the 8 choices on the next screen.

It may be just as easy to call DCL and talk to them directly...then can give you immediate options of what is available and secure a cabin for you right on the phone.
