Room Availability Question

Does anyone know how a room at a particular resort could show no availability for a weekend stay but when I change the dates to include an entire week stay suddenly there is availability? In theory could I book the entire week and then remove the days I don’t need?

That is the revenue maximizing software doing it's job. If they let you rent the weekend nights, someone wanting a longer reservation that covers those 2 nights will be out of luck.

You used to be able to do that. The system now won't let you do that unless the nights you want to keep are available as a new reservation. Which in your situation, they are not.

Call, I have had luck with them booking the days when I called and explained the situation. YMMV.

I found no availability online, called and got the dates I wanted...with a discount! Can't hurt to call!
