Room Assignments

My family and I are heading to BWV May 10-17. Our party consists of my son and his wife and child, my daughter and her husband and son, and my wife and me. I have reserved a 2br 2 ba for the kids and a studio for my wife and me. Our flight arrives in Orlando around 2, so I expect that we will be arriving at BWV around check in time. I would love if our rooms were near each other, at least on the same floor if possible. What are the chances? I made the reservations at the same time, the one is in my name and the other in my son's, but would it do any good at all to call member services and make the request? I have always assumed that rooms aren't assigned until you arrive, so in that respect, we'd be at the mercy of availability at check in. I would appreciate any or all thoughts and suggestions.

Typically, rooms are assigned several days before you arrive. You should call MS and have a 'Travel With' noted on both reservations. This will alert the room assigner to try and locate both rooms as close together as possible.
