Room assignment show up on MDE app before arrival?

I am curious if anyone has ever had their assigned room show up on their MDE app before arrival? How soon before? Hours or perhaps a day before? We have had 6 vacations there in the last 4 years and never have received a room number sent to us. Maybe we are just unlucky lol.

No. Never. Not on MDE. It will, if it comes at all, come in the form of a text informing you of your assignment by the afternoon or evening of your arrival date. We've had a text many times in the past, but sometimes, we've had to stop by the check in desk and inquire as to our room #.

Are you referring to the text or the app? In the app, no, I haven’t. But have heard of others getting texts while on the plane their room is ready! Good luck!

We have had the room number show up on the MDE app at approximately the same time as we get the room number via text.

I've had it show the room number on the app twice before I got the text. Once while on ME, and once in the late morning on the second part of a split stay.

Last year, we received the text with our room number. About 30 minutes later the app showed the room number as well. This was last September and it was also the 1st time I'd seen that on the app. I figured it was because now you can use your phone to open your door.

I have had it show up on the app before receiving a text. There’s an option to see room number once it’s assigned. Twice now we’ve checked there to find our room number before ever receiving a room ready text. Both times it was later in the day, after 4 pm of our check-in day.

Our split stay last week, we received the text for all three rooms, and room numbers immediately showed up in the app (AKL, FW, BRV).

You'll never get it days before. But yeah, you may get it on arrival day and the order can vary, MDE may be first, text may be first. Or neither may work and you may have to go to the desk

Our room number for our Thanksgiving trip at Old Key West showed up at the same time as the text alert went thru.

We’re 50/50 on getting a text or it just showing up in the app. It will happen check in day, not any earlier.

In the past 2 weeks I had:
Port Orleans Riverside-got a text around 11:40am with the room assignment.
Yacht Club-received about 9:40am
Beach Club-was checking the app and going to front desk (stranded in the lobby due to a rain storm) and finally saw the room number show up on the app around 3pm. By the time we got to the room, I had gotten the text.

My last trip (February 2019), I never did get a text, but the room number showed up in the app when I was about halfway from the airport to the resort.
