Room Amenities in DVC

Hi. Going in 4 weeks to AKL studio. What exactly is in the room as far as appliances go?

Also, I know they clean every 4 days or so but can you still get shampoo/conditioner/soap? Only DH and I so if we can get some everyday than I don't have to bring my own.

Additional toiletry sets are $5 per set. They have larger bottles for sale in the resort store.

They actually don't "clean" every 4 days. They bring clean towels and take your trash should you have any. You'll have a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. I believe you can call housekeeping and get a toaster should you want one. I haven't been in a studio in a very long time.

You will have a toaster in the room- you can call for a blender if you need it. You will only get toiletries every 4 days.

Yep, I was going to post about the cleaning every 4 days. OP, the length of your trip dictates what services you get. If you are there for 8 nights, you'll get 1 cleaning and 1 towel and trash day. If you are 7 or less nights you'll get 1 towel and trash day during that stay and only then do they replenish your supplies. You should plan to purchase or bring your own shampoo.

Also wanted to say, while my fellow members covered the appliances, there is also a vaccuum cleaner in the closest so you can tidy up and an iron, blow dryer, ironing board, pack&play and sometimes a highchair.

If you like to have coffee in your room in the morning, don't forget to bring some from home along w/ filters. I always bring my own but in the last 5 trips or so I've noticed they only give out 1 package of coffee.

If your trip was booked through Member Services, you get your room serviced in some fashion every four days. Any additional service you will pay for.

If your trip was booked through Disney Reservation Center, you get a full cleaning every day and your supplies are replenished daily.

I actually picked up today the coffee packs. I've been looking all over for them and found them. Now I'm set for coffee for my trip in 2 weeks!

Regular size, like a typical Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup type. The one coffee they give is an all in one coffee & Filter pack but I've never found a coffee that I like that comes this way.
