We have rooms 7118 & 7119. Anyone know what type of Verandah 7118 has in it? Plexiglass or private type?

Stateroom 7118 is a see through(plexiglass)verandah.

thanks for your quick response Verandahman! have you stayed in this room by any chance? We've had a verandah twice on past 2 cruises in Cat 4 but I cannot remember what those verandahs were like...guess it doesn't matter than, huh? As long as you have the verandah.

My first cruise is coming up this August and we will be staying in #7586. I went to Dave's DCL Tribute site this morning and found the info you needed there. Dave has a great deal of info on his site. I have a link to Dave's site on my webpage. If you like you can click on to my site here verandahman.com and then you can click on to Dave's site.

On our second cruise we stayed in 7118 on the magic (eastern) I loved the cabin! very convient , normal size veranda no obstructions, and yes it is plexiglass.

thanks for answering Ann & Verandah Man.

Ann, if I remember correctly, wasn't your drill in Animators?

yes it was, our first cruise had the drill out on deck (cabin 6578) the next two were in animators (7118 and 5130) I much prefer animators, cruise number 4 will be 6596 so I hope we are not back on deck. Although I guess it is not a bad thing to have your muster station right near the lifeboat ;)

I know what you mean...for our first cruise our drill was on Deck 4 and it was dead heat in mid July. I was anemic at the time (but didn't know it) and suddenly felt faint from the heat and that life vest being around my neck. I had to leave to go to a cooler spot just so I wouldn't pass out! Ever since that I've preferred Animators where you can sit in an air conditioned room!
