Room 7070

Anyone stayed in #7070 on the Wonder? Easy access to the stairwells - I'm not keen on the "slow" elevators. Grendel -- do I recall in one of your wonderful reports that you were recently in 7070??

Not on the Wonder, but we just had 7070 on the Magic and LOVED it. Just aft of Midship, closer to the Midship lifts than the one aft. We found the Midship ones to be more crowded. Stairs were definitely the quickest method most of the time and not far at all. You're not that far from the Aft stairs, so it was convenient to run up to Topsiders or the drink station on Deck 9 to bring things back to the stateroom.

Now climbing those after a day on shore or Castaway Cay were a bit much. What we found was to walk to the opposite end of the ship on Deck 2 from where the boarding gangplank was and take that lift to 7.

There are no cabins opposite on the interior side, so no worries about slamming stateroom doors. The only real noise were heard were kids running down the corridor at times.

You should have lifeboat station J, which while outside, is on the shady side of the ship at that time of day.

Comfortable position on the ship. We had very smooth seas, so little movement was felt.

We rebooked and someone had already grabbed it from us!! So we went with 7072 instead...
