I am new to this so I apologize if these are duplicate questions. I did a search and really didn't come up with much

Where can I make reservations for this resort--anywhere on-line?

Are there any special discounts ever available?

How much usually is it per night?

How long in advance can you make these reservations?

Thanks for your help!

You can check out their website at www.ronjonresort.com
I called and they ran about 125.00 per night. Personally, I can't see paying that much if you're not there that long. We have a late flight coming in and will leave early the next morning for the cruise.
It is a nice place though. Not much more than most run in the area.

I just got our room the night after we return for our cruise through priceline and saved lots of money! I'm going to do the same with our room the night we arrive before our cruise.

So if the cost doesn't bother you, call them.

Hope this helps!

Happy cruising!

Big Sky: What hotel did you get? Bid in Orlando or Cocoa?

TIA

I assume that since you are coming from Milwaukee, you are flying. Those of us a little closer end up driving, so we therefore figure the $70.00 parking at the port into the equation and it makes those hotels that include parking and shuttle service a better deal, even if they cost a bit more per night.

Several of us cruising in January have booked at the same hotel. Even though it is around $110 per night, the parking is included which makes it roughly $40 after you take out the $70 for parking.

But as I said, you are probably flying in, right?

Thanks for the info.

Are there ever any specials that I should keep my eye open for? And is it too early to reserve for next October!

We are flying but getting a rental car since we are doing a 4 night cruise and then extra time at WDW so it's cheaper to rent a car. The parking free is a great benefit.

Plus we plan on staying in Cocoa Beach 2 nights before the cruise so we will get full use of their amenities.

Any additional info is appreciated!!

Debster-

We are staying at the Quality Suites in Cocoa Beach. Check out their site at :

It doesn't look like it has a ton of frills but it is reasonable at $108 a night, which is only $38 after you figure in the parking and shuttle. Also, you get two Hawaiian shirts in that price.

Daves site has pretty good things to say about it, and the Passporter recommends it as well. Check out Daves site to see about other hotels in the area:

HTH!

We are booked to stay at Ron Jon's in January. We're paying $120 for a studio, plus they said we could park there for the duration of the cruise for free - again saving the $70 from parking at the terminal.

The main reason we chose Ron Jon's is because it is actually ON the beach. We can walk or take a shuttle.

Plus, there's a large Chuck E Cheese-style playground INSIDE Ron Jon's in case it's raining or too cold to swim. Will be a nice way for the kids to burn off some energy after a long drive.

By the way MICKEYFANMOM, we're from Cumming, too!!! And it looks like we're cruising just one week after you are!

:earsgirl:

P.S. My DD and I made a Countdown Chain (with over 70 days remaining, it's rather long!). My DD has a blast ripping the chains off each morning and announcing how many days are left until the trip.
