Hi
We had booked a room at the Ron Jon for December. I booked in February. We were quoted a rate of $900/week and told it was the "best rate" available at the time of booking. (this is for a 1 bedroom pool building) When the confirmation came from the resort the nightly rate was $140.65.
After seeing the promo code on this board I called them back and requested our rate be changed to the promo rate. I gave them the code from the Florida Travel Magazine 102
I received confirmation yesterday of our reservation at a nightly rate of $108.75. We decided to book for an extra night as well so we now have eight nights at this rate. Yahoo!
Thanks a bunch to everyone who posted information!

Good for you!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc I also used the 102 code and can't wait to stay there in October....so many good reviews from this board! Have fun

Great to hear! We cant wait for our two-night stay next month either!!

Geepers, I was quoted $160 per night for a studio :(
But that is for Easter time 2005, no coupons or codes. Ron Jon told me the codes are for 2004 only. I guess my quote is for high season rates. Still, can't wait!

Hellooothere........what dates are you going to be there. I think we are going to book for Dec. 2nd and 3rd prior to our Dec. 4 sailing.

We will be there from the 6 to the 14th. Hope you don't take the sun with you when you sail. We are hoping for a warm escape from our winter.

If it is $108.75 for a 1BR with code 102, how much is it for a studio? Anyone book a studio?

Ok I just called Ron Jon's and spoke with a "Misty" She said codes are not good for Friday and Saturday arrivals, they are no longer published codes and are applied at their discretion.

Sounds like she is part owner in the property LOL

Isn't there another code and can someone place a picture of the coupon so I can see it, I have heard that the expiration date on the code is 12/04. Is this correct?

I booked our May arrivals with code 102 for a Sat arrival. They gave it to me. According to another poster on here, the page just said Code 102 for a limited time only.
But I am told different things by different people there as well. I posted on another thread about conflicting long term parking arrangements...
It seems like you may get it depending on who you talk to! I hope the whole resort isn't run like this (some clean rooms some not so good, food, etc...)

I used Code 102 for the Friday night before our cruise in October without any problems. We booked a studio and got a rate of $75 with the code. Wound up being cheaper than the Radisson.
