I personally, love it so far. It's hard to understand some of the wording, but oh well. It is good.

I wasn't a huge fan. I liked Hamlet much more.

My favorite character was Balthasar followed closely by Mercutio.

i love romeo & juliet, my favourite character is probably mercutio (simply because in the baz lurman version he has that AMAZZZING speech when he's in drag....made me appreciate mercutio alot more) Tybalt is a pretty bad mamajama too. I can dig it.


R&J is great, but definitley not my fave shakespeare, that would go to Hamlet & Titus Andronicus (tied) w00t.

Hamlet is sooo great, I loooove it!!!

It was okay. Pretty depressing, though. Like Shelby said, I was seriously let down with the whole Romeo deal.
I was like, okay, he's being a teenage d-bag, when's the romance gonna come?

I thought everyone was okay except Mercutio. He seemed like an arrogant attention-hog.

Mercutio. Probably because at the time, I didn't understand his jokes... everyone laughed so I thought he must be really funny.

I'm glad you like the play. It's my second-favorite Shakespeare... oddly enough, I didn't like Macbeth, although my mom loved it. Of course, all this being said, I am not a Shakespeare fan. At all.

I agree that it's terrible cause of that, but I like it, not necissarally(sp?) for the love story, but for the actual story.

What did you think of it? I love it. The language, the story, the characters...everything.

Who's your favorite character? Well I am partial to Juliet because I played her. But I also think Tybalt is the man. hah And I just lovvve Sampson and Abraham (2 small characters in the beginning..."Do you bite your thumb at us sir?" hah)

We just finished reading it in English.
I really liked it.
When we got to the end of the story I was actually kind of upset.
I mean, I knew what was going to happen, but when I actually saw it on paper it was more upsetting for some reason.
I liked the Nurse, strangely enough.

We watched the movie made in 1968 and my favorite characters in that were Romeo and Benvolio.
