San Angel Inn at Epcot is a very romantic setting! I love it! My DH took me there for the first night on our Disneymoon! :goodvibes

I really loved the setting and food at Bistro de Paris. So quiet and romantic!

Jiko would be a wondeful choice as would Flying Fish. I know you said you are not big on seafood, but they have one of the best steaks at WDW. Their chocolate sampler is super, too!

Both of the restaurants are just beatiful, with unique decor and excellent service. AKL and BW are great places to visit, with quiet places to sit and relax after your meal.

our anniversary is next month while we'll be in Disney and just after that my hub leaves for Iraq. I wanted to do the same thing, nice romantic dinner without the kids. Someone had passed this link along to me, don't know how much you want to do for the evening but it is worth reading....

I had the menu sent to me and have chosen my options, I can't wait. I think it will be an evening we'll never forget.

Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge is WONDERFUL...great menu; I am sure you would find something you would love there.

Victoria & Albert's is by far the most romantic option at WDW in my opinion.

I agree on Artist Point and would add the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Quiet and elegant and you can walk along the lake in the moonlight afterwards.

Love V&A but I think can be sometimes be over the top. Feel compelled to really dress-up.

My vote is for Bistro de Paris in Epcot at France  - Yes you need to dress up a little.
No kids menu, great food, very romantic
You feel like you are being transported to a different world just steps from everything at Epcot. Great to stroll around and watch Illuminations after a romantic dinner.

I also love Mexico, it is romantic, but lots of families around

what about the California Grill...any good? romantic? The view of Wishes would be spectacular...thanks for all your help everyone!

The Cali Grill is great and they do have a great wishes spot. As far as romance goes not at the top my list.

I'd say JIKO - dinner then a walk around AKL, maybe use the night vision goggles to see the animals out on the savannah. The lounge here is also beautiful.

I would have to agree...good food, and a nice view, but very noisy.

V & A is probably one of the most romantic places to eat out of anywhere (at disney and not at disney) It is absolutely amazing, you do have to dress up, my husband wears a jacket and myself a cocktail dress or a nice pants outfit.

If you don't want to get that fancy California Grill will fit the bill and if you are there at the right time you can watch wishes while eating..

I have not done this so I can only tell you what I have read. They have a private butler/dinner service at GF that sounds amazing.
Something I would like to try.

I have to agree if you are looking for true romance and don't mind getting dressed up GO TO V&A.

my husband & i love le cellier steakhouse in canada ws at epcot. the food there is superb & the atmosphere is cozy with the stone walls & fireplace. we also enjoy bistro de paris on the 2nd floor in france, its a very intimate restaurant, the food is good & if youre lucky enough to get a window side table the view is nice.

victoria & alberts at the grand floridian is also very good & romantic for a price $, but the roses & multi course meal are worth it. my husband & i did this during our disneymoon & then strolled the gf beach area after dinner watched the ewp & then the fireworks at mk in the distance.

no matter what you pick have a wonderful evening!
