I am looking for suggestions for DH and I. We are going out one night (hopefully) to celebrate our anniversary sans kids and need thoughts on a good location.

Hi! :goodvibes

Are you on the dining plan?

If budget is not an option, I HIGHLY recommend Victoria& Alberts. BEST meal of our lives!!

If you do not wish to spend that much, Citricos in the Grand Floridian, Blue Zoo in the Dolphin resort, and Jiko in the animal kingdom lodge would be my picks for a romantic childless dinner!

You can pull up the menus at www.allears.net, and see what appeals to you.

Oh, Flying Fish on the boarwalk is excellent, BUT loud and bustling....Not exactly what I would consider overly romantic, but the food is great :thumbsup2

We've had great romantic dinners at Jiko in AKL. If you get an early or late reservation the restaurant is usually a bit quieter.

Narcoossee's it on the lake side of mk the food is awesome and I seen a Lot of I do's with tears of joy ...

My top choice will always be V&A. It's the only place guaranteed to be romantic. And the food is in a league of its own.

Next up I would pick one of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants as they have a tendency to have a more adult clientele and aren't as packed since they don't offer the dining plan. My personal favorite is blue zoo but Il Mulino and Shulas are equally good, depending on the type of food you are looking for. As long as you are not there on a night with conventioneers, these places are usually very quiet.

Bistro de Paris upstairs in Epcot can be romantic, we've always had great meals there, but there have been recent reports of disruptive children dining here (they don't have a child's menu so it used to be a great adult spot).

Portabello Yacht Club at DTD is very nice also. I don't think the food is as good as Il Mulino at the Swan (both are Italian) but it's in a pretty setting.

After these, I'd probably pick Citricos first out of Disney's restaurants. Next would be Jiko then Artist Point.

If you are wanting to spend signficantly less, I'd recommend Turf Club at SSR. It's a bit of a hidden gem and we've enjoyed quiet meals here too.

I have to admit that San Angel Inn was the absolute best for romantic atmospheres.

You dine inside the Mexican Pavillion along side the "river" where the little boat ride goes, but yet you feel as if you are outside eating in Mexico on a nice summer night. Fabulous!!!

It truly is special. You do have to look at the menu and see if things appeal to you as SAI is not Tex Mex, it is more traditional in it's dishes but very good. I can't wait to eat there on our next trip!!
