Thank goodness for grandparents! My husband and I will be able to have an evening without the kids. Can you recommend a romantic  restaurant that has a great steak? Thanks a bunch!

DH and I really enjoyed the Cali Grill, but I would say only if you can get a ressie during Wishes....I heard it can be a little noisy at other times. That was our FAV meal of the whole trip...such a great view! We had a table right by the window and I nearly cried when Wishes started and the music was piped in the restaurant with the lights dimmed  The food was also AWESOME DH had the steak and loved it...I had the pork tenderloin and it was :worship: Best service of the trip as well. I've also heard great things about Yachtsman if you want a good steak (although Ive never been there :)) Le Cellier has great steaks and it has low lighting (as its supposed to be a wine cellar :thumbsup2) You also are seated close together since its a small restaurant  Hope this helps and you have a great time!

Another vote for Yachtsman and I would also suggest Narcoossee's! Both romantic. Enjoy your dinner out together!

Romantic and a great steak are a tough combination at Disney. The Wave restaurant at the Contemporary has a good fillet, but I wouldn't call it romantic. Even the California Grill is noisy with families. Had a great fillet at The Brown Derby this past trip. Love that restaurant. Don't particularly care for Yachtsman Steakhouse. Generally full of conventioneers, so don't think of it as romantic. Probably, in our opinion, the most romantic restaurant at disney other than Victoria & Alberts, would be Bluezoo.

My DW and I had a romantic dinner at the Cali Grill and was able to watch Wishes on the roof. It was our 15th anniversary. It was great.

I would recomend the California Grill also... as for a great steak not sure but have heard great things about Yachtsman and Yachtsman and I would also suggest Narcoossee's also... the pics I've seen of Narcoossee's look like it would be quite romantic... maybe look into Artist Point at WL too.

I recommend Sanaa at Animal Kingdom lodge. Very quiet, beautiful views of the savannah, DELICIOUS african/indian cuisine. A must try!

I vote Yachtsman here. Very romantic, my DBF and I celebrated an anniversary there and they made is wonderful and memorable. They even customized our menus with our names on them. Steak was delicious too, we had filet with potatoes :) YUMMO

california grill is one of my fave places- but it certainly isn't quiet or a break from kids- they are everywhere. Shula's would be a great place for steak and no kids, as would blue zoo. Upstairs in France (no steak ) but nice atmosphere. Also, Jiko might be a nice alternative.

I think Jiko is one of the quietest restaurants on property (I haven't tried Artist Point). It is a beautiful restaurant with great servers and delicious food. I love the barbeque chicken flatbread appetizer and the filet is delish.
I would avoid Yachtsman Steakhouse. Although it is a very pretty restaurant we do not like the food.
Enjoy your night out.

California Grill would be a great choice, but if you have extra $$ Victorian & Albert’s is unbelievable. :lovestruc

My first choice would be the California Grill, even though it can get a little busy and there will be lots of kids there. We ate at Citricos two weeks ago and it was very quiet. The service was also amazing. Unfortunately, the entrees weren't all that great. I think the chef is going a little heavy handed on blood oranges. The apps and dessert were really good, though. I don't even like crab but I couldn't stop trying my husband's crab cakes.

It doesn't get a lot of attention, but I love Artists Point. The menu is pretty limited, but I had the best steak I've ever had on Disney property there. It's also pretty quiet.

Jiko. Less noisy than some of the signature restaurants (think Cali Grill). Plus, the resort is awesome to check out and spend time in. Other choices would be Narcoosee's or Citricos.

The Japanese Wagyu strip loin at Victoria & Alberts is the best piece of beef I've had anywhere. And there is no restaurant at WDW that is as romantic.

I think your best bet for 'romantic' and 'great steak' would be Jiko. It's low lighting, very quiet, the back wall changes color throughout the course of the evening to represent an African sunset, and it overlooks some beautiful plants and waterfalls. They have a great wine list, and their oak grilled filet is to DIE for.

The CA Grill is my most favorite restaurant on property, but I wouldn't call it romantic. Yes, there is a great view of Wishes if you time it right, but it's always VERY busy and VERY loud. Excellent food, though, so would be a good choice regardless. Narcoosees is very romantic, and also has a wonderful, if different, view of Wishes, if you think you'd like to see the fireworks with dinner - they pipe in the music as well. However, I can't remember how great their steak is.

So, I vote for Jiko - it meets both your requirements!
