SO we leave for Disney later today, but was thinking what can I do for a romantic day/evening with my wife. Obviously I'd like a female perspective who's been to Disney, but am open to all suggestions. We do have a child that will be going with us, but can leave her with my mother in law. Just looking for a Disney "wow" with my wife as things haven't been exciting lately. Tips/ideas welcome!

I've never done this, but I've heard/read that going to the Polynesian resort, and walking down to the beach to watch the fireworks at the MK is wonderful. From what I've heard, it seems like its pretty excluded, and might be a beautiful way to spend the evening.

Been there and have done that. It's quite nice and not too many people in the area.:goodvibes

After ghiradelli at downtown Disney take the boatride to port Orleans riverside at night and then take the horse drawn carriage ride around the grounds of the resort.

I like all these ideas pp posted. You can also rent a pontoon boat at one of the MK resorts and maybe have a picnic out there in the middle of the lake.

While I think that a lot depends on what your wife likes, here is what I would tell my husband.

A dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, then he would take me to the MK for a few rides on our favorite rides and then dessert. While walking through the rose garden, he would put his arm around my waist and start dancing with me.

Well this what I would choose. I hope you find the perfect thing for you.

I find dinner at an Epcot resort then walking around BW and into IG beautiful and so romantic. I also think dinner at CA grill during fireworks very high on the list.

Then again, just a little bit of alone time to walk around Disney and not have to worry about anything at all I find extremely romantic.

Have you been to Sanaa at Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge? WOW! It is great. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is really intimate. I also really enjoyed their wine flights and it was fun sharing with my DFi. The cost isn't that bad either. Sure, it's a little one the pricey side, but you won't be losing an arm and a leg to pay for it.

Check it out! :thumbsup2

We did a couple dinners alone which was nice. We ate at Le Cellier and walked around EPCOT for our first one. The following night we ate at the Port Orleans Boatwrights, which was delicious....then went to watch BOB play on the piano. It was nice to get away from the toddler (and mother in law). :thumbsup2 That was just enough to recharge the batteries.
