Romantic Escape at Sea package...Called DCL and got a little info!

I don't see why not- it doesn't list any requirements at all in order to book this- just the $299 ofcourse. :)

Echoing BBB, I agree, I can't imagine they'd turn down more $$!! *grin* Just not sure if you'd book it via MS, or call DCL - but if MS is your "travel agent", I'd try with them first! :)

We recently booked our cruise and I'm wondering if I can add this package on at any time. Is there a cut-off date that I need to purchase it by?

I wasnt' sure, till I was perusing Elijah's Granpa's trip report - apparently he added it on later! I didn't know it at the time, but DH booked it on the sly for me when we booked the cruise...he was in the same room as me, and I didn't even hear him do it! *grin*

Well darn, ya'll, (note mildly irritated Southern drawl)...so is the Palo fee included or not. What I've heard so far matches what my TA at DU said...and she said that they WOULD book the spa at the same time as everything else.

So...I'm going to assume all is booked in advance and the fees in Palo aren't included, just the opportunity not to stand in line for ressies so I can enjoy embarkation day without standing in line! When someone goes and does this package, PLEASE post when you get back and help us out! :)

No.
We booked it for our upcoming cruise and was told by a disney CM the 10.00 Palo fee was not included.

Ah, but our TA said that the DINNER one is included, but we also booked the brunch and that one is NOT included...

*confused*

3 weeks till I find out for sure!

*is too excited for words*

That just seems so PETTY for the $10 Palo to not be included when it's listed on the website as palo reservation being part of the pkg- and the spa is not an extra charge! The spa is on the listing and it's included- and it's a heck of a lot more than $10 like Palo is!
Seems silly to include spa charge but not the $10 Palo- both are listed as part of the pkg...

I'll call my MIL today and double check, but in our notes she said that the DINNER is included (and that's really all that's offered in the package) but the $$ for the brunch or tea (if there is any for the tea?) is NOT - we chose to book that anyhow. :)

I agree 110% and when I booked this pkg the CM insisted the 10.00 fee was not included but everyone I talk to seems to think that's ridiculous so this morning I called Disney again and again the Disney CM said the 10.00 Palo fee was NOT included.......CM even told me she thought it was ridiculous the fee wasn't inlcuded.

Included or not included........we added on this pkg.

This is consistent with the info we received before our Nov. anniversary cruise after about 4 phone calls- dinner fee is not included- it's just a priority seating reservation, CC cabana couples massages not included -only at Vista Spa... They couldn't find out if they were pre-booked or not too, 2 thought so.... I don't think anyone there really knows what's up with this pkge & it varies by person. No one knew what the gifts were either. All said Champagne & choc. dipped strawberries were included. We opted out as we wanted to know what we were getting for our money...

It does seem ridiculous to pay $10 pp for Palo dinner, in addition to the $300 you paid for the package. The Palo ressie is the big draw... We got to Port early & got our anniversary night no problem. We bought a bottle of Opus One to celebrate. Pricey, but not as expensive as the package & we like the wine better than champagne.
