My DD and BF want to have a romantic dinner on or off site, BUT and its a big but, they are on a starving college kid budget. I think they would really like a candle lit atmosphere. Any suggestions? They are not old enough to drink.

to be honest - any of the 'nicer' places down there will be $$$. My DH and I dropped over $100 on our meals at Artist pointe and Jiko. (both places I really reccommend.) Those prices include 1 or 2 "adult beverages" and dessert - not tip. (i know - yikes!) But we were splurging with appetizers and desserts and after dinner coffee.

maybe check out the restaurants at Downtown Disney? might be a bit more affordable?

I remember being a starving college student...oh the days...

They might want to think about lunch instead of dinner. The menus are generally the same except for the prices.

Suggestions: Le Cellier, Brown Derby, San Angel Inn
