Romantic Dinner for 2, not in a park!

Hey guys, we'll be going to WDW in May 2017 and my husband mentioned wanting to go to a couples dinner without the kids one night. We're trying to decide which restaurant we would like to dine at but honestly, I have no clue! Victoria & Albert's isn't happening because of the cost but we're pretty much open to everything else. DH isn't the adventurous sort but loves steak & seafood. We're planning on going on our rest day so it needs to be at a resort, boardwalk, or Disney Springs.

What are your suggestions?

Yachtsman Steakhouse would be my choice if you're steak fans.

The Flying Fish on the BW is supposed to be great but I think the prices might be a bit steep.

I have never been but I know a few friends love going to California Grill. I loved Yachtsman Steakhouse the last time we went there. It was a bit of a wait since they were running late with everyone. I have also heard good things about Orlando STK.

We are doing Narcoossee's.

Yes, it is a little pricey. But nothing like V&A. I've guessed our bill, before tip will be around $130-$150.

V&A is more than that per person.

We ate at Flying fish the other night and it was fantastic. Renovated space much more warm & romantic. Boathouse was also excellent we had a beautiful table out by the water. We also just had lunch at Morimoto which was very chic and absolutely fantastic food.

A friend of mine just mentioned how wonderful Boathouse was on their last trip there!

My choice would be something in the Boardwalk area as it is so much fun to walk around there in the evening. If you aren't on the dining plan, I would consider one of the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin. If you like sushi, Kimono's is great. bluezoo and Il Mulino are also very good. I haven't been, but Shula's is supposed to be great for steak. If you would like something a little more casual (and you are on the dining plan), I would suggest Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk. Good food and nice wait staff. Grab a drink at AbracadaBAR beforehand and save room for Ample Hills ice cream!

If the Boardwalk isn't your cup of tea and you would like something quieter, I would consider Sanaa at AKL or Artist Point at WL.

My husband and I think that Narcoosee's is a fantastic restaurant. We enjoyed quite the splurge a couple of years ago. We ordered a full steamed lobster, steak, lobster mac n cheese, and the almond-crusted cheesecake. We timed it so that we could watch both the Electrical Water Pageant and the fireworks from the dock. It was so romantic!

On our last trip, we tried Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin Resort. The food was AMAZING, especially if you're into huge portions and a steak connoisseur. If I had to pick between Shula's and Narcoossee's, though, I would pick Narcoossee's for sure just because of the added entertainment - and also the delicious lobster!

Private dining. Cheaper than V&A more intimate than any other restaurant. Can be a bit pricey but not V&A pricey and you get to have a lovely dinner with your significant other followed by Fireworks.

Another vote for the Boardwalk area restaurants. We love Trattoria and the recently renovated Flying Fish is supposed to be great!
