Hey Everyone,

My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon to Disneyworld and I was curious what places you guys recommend for a romantic dinner at Epcot center. Are there any other restaurants that you would recommend at other DW parks?

Thanks,

Gary

The Bistro ::yes:: (upstairs at France). Has wonderful food and excellent service. The degustation menu is particularly nice.

Not the coziest but San Angel Inn has a great atmosphere, esp. if you get a table by the water.

You could also consider Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian, Blue Zoo at the "Swalphin". Or go all out to Victoria and Albert's. :)

Also, at Tokyo Dining, there are a few tables right by the window looking out over the World Showcase lagoon. But no guarantees you could get that table unless you had an early ADR.

I too am a fan of San Angel Inn.

It is one of the most romantic spots in all the WDW in my opinion.

The atmosphere starts off as if you were sitting riverside in mexico, the food is very good....more traditional than tex mex so be aware of that.
Then finally settling in for the best carmel sauce on your desserts and lastly take the boat ride in the pavillion for a little "tunnel of love" style ride. ;)

Also agree with San Angel. We thought the food was very good (we like real Mexican food;)) The setting is very romantic with the pyramid in the background.

I agree with the Bistro & San Angel for Epcot - San Angel will have more families there, but the atmosphere is really nice. Other romatic places that DH & I like to dine are BlueZoo at the Dolphin, the Low Bar at Flying Fish which is at the Boardwalk - both of which allow us to take a nice stroll arm in arm around the Boardwalk & Cescent Lake. We also like Jiko at AKL, with a stroll around Arusha Rock & sitting by the firepit afterwards.

Really tho, Romance is what you make it at WDW. We find alot of little things romantic about WDW that wouldn't normally be romantic.... like sitting together at Tambu Lounge, having a boat drink & people watching - getting caught in the rain on a boat on Seven Seas Lagoon, walking hand in hand around World Showcase - when you are with your Honey, all those little things will be romantic.

Have a wonderful Honeymoon & Congrats!

Bisto is the only one quiet enough to be considered romantic.

I enjoy the food at most of the rest but the crowd noise and at times frenetic pace are a turn-off.

The dinner show at Marrakesh while not paricularly romantic setting is pretty sexy.DW took me there on our honeymoon.

I like San Angel Inn. They have the lights turned down which seems to have a calming affect, even on children. DH and I have eaten there on every trip and have always had a great time.

Bistro would be my choice as well.
At other WDW parks, only the Brown Derby could be considered somewhat "romantic"--but not very, as it's loud and noisy now due to pre-Fantasmic patrons anxious to eat and run to see that show.

Congrats! We spent our honeymoon in Disney World in July and found many romantic dinner spots...
California Grill at the Contemporary
Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort
Le Cellier in Epcot
Tutto Italia in Epcot
Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios

Enjoy and have fun planning! Also, make sure you get the buttons!

Citrico's and/or Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian both have exceptional menus.

If you time it right - after dinner go down to the boat launch dock and watch Wishes from there. Or if you have an earlier dinner - afterwards go to the Polynesian - get an after dinner drink - and go down to the beach and watch Wishes from a hammock

Personally, I could not consider San Angel Inn to be either quiet or romantic. It's too noisy, too frenetic, usually loaded with active children, and the tables are too close together. I like the food though. and the margaritas are outstanding. Same for Le Cellier except no margaritas.

I thought I read that San Angel was closed until fall. I'm not sure when your trip is taking place.

I agree with the Bistro. Also, Todd English Blue Zoo.

If you want to go to one of the resorts, Ohana's is very nice for dinner. Although it's not the most quite and you really need to have an appreciation for meat.

If you've chosen Disney for your vacation, you probably expect to be around noise, children and families. Therefore, you can probably have a romantic experience regardless of where you go. The settings of San Angel and Bistro de Paris certainly qualify.

If you would like quiet surroundings, I strongly urge you to consider Bistro de Paris.

I agree with the PP's - definitely Bistro! We ate there with our kids a few years ago, and it still was so nice (and we also got the chef menu with wine pairings, so nice).

The one who said it was busy may have been referring to the restaurant downstairs, which we sadly had a horrible experience at and do not recommend ever (Le Chefs de France).

Even if there are children there (this is Disney, so yes, there will be!) it is so wonderful!

That's the thing - there will most likely be some noise & chaos just about where ever you go in WDW - but when you are in Love & with your Honey, that stuff seems to slip away. We find California Grill obnoxiously loud & chaotic, but were still able to have a romantic evening together there just because we were in WDW, alone, enjoying each other. It is what you make it.

As a general rule of thumb, tho - the Signature resaurants & higher end restaurants seem to be a little quieter & a little more romantic. Certain exceptions apply like CA. Grill.

Actually, it's just the Cantina outside that's closed, San Angel inside the pavilion will still be open. I agree that romantic doesn't always equal quiet at WDW! I also like San Angel and I'm also a fan of Le Cellier if you can get it. We only did Bistro one time years ago and we didn't enjoy the service.

I would say the Bistro is probably the most romantic, and they do not accept the dining plan. If you are the dining plan I would say Tuttio Italia.

Went to Narcoossee's last night and it was louder than I was expecting. I guess more due to the hardwood flooring and high ceiling. Nothing to dampen the noise.

Sure was nice sitting at our table watching Wishes across the water (and listening - yes, they play the audio)
