Rolling room deposit over to another reservation

We currently have 2 different room only reservations as we try to lock down our plans. Before I cancel 1, can I roll the deposit we've already paid into an additional payment into the reservation we are going to keep? I just don't want the money we have paid refunded back to my credit card since we are Canadian and get dinged an extra 2.5 percent not only on purchases, but then on returns too. Yuck!

yes, you can transfer money between reservations. I added a second resort for a split stay and transferred funds (had been using GCs to prepay) from our first reservation to the new one. I was even able to transfer funds from our reservation to our friends' reservation.
