Cari, your idea about splitting 9+9 sounds great to get the ball rolling. Are you going to split the cabins and then I can post the lists of both groups on the first post of the thread?

Also, did you want to send PMs to all those who originally signed up just to make sure they still all want to take part as I'm aware that there are a couple of people who haven't posted in a while.

I think most people are in agreement about splitting the group two ways so I would go ahead and split and then we can get started - can you tell I'm itching to get going with my FE gifts

Splitting is fine with me but I'd rather split it by one half the boat other than by party size. I'd rather be doing this than running up and down the stairs! Someone asked about the coupon code and I got an e-mail with a special pin number it might be because I am an annual pass holder so if you have an annual pass and are on the cruise watch your e-mails.

Thanks for pointing out another positive benefit to splitting into 2 groups that didn’t occur to me before… splitting the group up cuts our delivery time during the vacation down by half now. Excellent observation, sdchickie!

But we only know of 11 cabin numbers at this time. We won't know the full cabin number list/location until October (if any FEE participants are waiting for a GTY cabin number) so how can we split the groups by location now?

At least we aren't talking about 80 cabins... The Dis'er on post #190 in this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1980639 mentioned that she made FE items for 80 cabins

WILMA- I will make a split list and get it to you tomorrow ok ......
I think if we split it by number of people it will enable us to get started now ... if we split by cabin number we may not know until 1 week prior to sailing ... it will go smoother I think ( just my opinion) if we just try to split it by groups now and remember im going to make maps for both group A and B and will pass out when we meet so we can quickly get our cabins FE stuff passed out ... if everyone would rather split later when we all know our numbers thats fine with me we just need to all decide on which way . I suppose we could split later if everyone is getting FE stuff that isnt personal .... last year I did all my FE stuff the same for every person so it wouldnt affect me getting my gifts started now , but for instance I had a person on our cruise last year who personalized items ETC and needed names way ahead of time so just let me know everyone what we wanna do split now or later

SDCHICKEY- Anza is soooooooo close to me you have no clue !!!! im on the outer parts of Temecula so im off of Anza the light before you hit Anza the turn off ( your mom will know what i mean ) is she on this list????? Id love to chat and see when her flight is LOL thats COOL !!!!

OK Cari - I agree with splitting by groups - let's face it, there should only be 8 staterooms to actually deliver to in each group so not too unmanageable I think.

Cari, when you split the groups could you please put me in a separate group to natalielongstaff and her family as we are holidaying together and joining up on buying our FE gifts. That way, if we're in separate groups, it means we can give something out to everybody between us

11th cruise overall.

We got the "travel kit" today.
It is still exciting when we get one.

What is especially nice about this one is that it will be Halloween.
And the fact that it only cost $273.00.
Another kewl thing is that we will meet a bunch of dis-friends from previous cruises the week before.

Hey guys! I'm all about splitting now if that's what everyone wants to do. I am personalizing a few of my gifts and would love to get started. Our cabin # changed by the way to 5135. We are doing B2B cruises and Disney let us stay in our room for this cruise so we don't have to move our luggage...Yay!!

We got our "travel kit" yesterday! It somehow makes it all seem more real!

Hi Wilma I will make notes to make your group seperate ive been sick all day so i just wanted to jump on and say i will get the split list to you for sure before the end of the week so hold tight ....But for those who want to start i would count on 12 even though theres 9 and 9 right now that way we can allow for more families to join later if some come on
i got my kit in the mail too !!!! YAY !!!! it does make it seem closer and im headed out to get my passport pic this weekend and my passport on payday .... watch out a passport means i can now cruise ANYWHERE antime LOL

Yes most likely longer to the UK and if you booked thru dreams unlimited it may take longer ...i know people from our last cruise who booked thru dreams unlimited didnt get their room assignments till like less than a week before the cruise and their docs took FOREVER to come too so those who booked thru them be sure to tell them if your leaving earlier than a few days before the trip

Meryll, they should know you're from the UK. We booked through DU for our last cruise and din't have a problem getting our docs in plenty of time (IIRC we got them about 2 weeks before we left for our actual holiday). Couldn't hurt to remind them though and let them know what date you are leaving the UK

YAY !!!! I cant wait to get started on my FE stuff too . Im going to buy some stuff today :=) Im planning on buying for 12 people since more might join later ... all of my gifts will most likely be the same thing for everyone as it is easiest for me to do it that way . I have herd people in my last cruise who mailed thier FE stuff to the port so i might do that this year ... last year i shopped late like Oct 1 so i didnt do too much , BUT THIS YEAR im ahead already buying now sooooooo I might actually wind up buying more LOL I will get the info on shipping to the port if anyone likes???? let me know .
Also just so im clear bec ive never split groups LOL A buys for B and B buys for A right LOL LOL LOL i know im kinda silly !

Okay...I'm a little confused...A doesn't buy for A? I've already started a few of mine, so can we do it that way i.e. A buys for A and B buys for B?
