ROL & Tusker House

We will be at Disney Sept 26-Oct 1. I had planned on AK for Friday and Epcot Saturday but then got ROL / Tusker House on Saturday. I'm not sure we need have the dining experience to get a seat at ROL. That's the only reason we would do that meal. What is y'alls opinion on that? Touring plans has Epcot at 4 and AK at 6 on Friday and Epcot at 5 and AK at 7 on Saturday - Saturday is EMH for AK.

It's me and 3- 23-year-old girls - we will not get our moneys worth out of the meal. Would you just stick with your Friday plan or do you think we need Dinner Reservations to get ROL seats?

I wish we had canceled our ROL package. We had the ROL Tusker package this past Spring break. The dining package seating area was not crowded, so they let standby guest fill-in the rest of the area. Even with the standby guests, there was plenty of available seating for everyone.

Dining gets the best view front and center while fast pass the second best. You can still view without but have to stake your place out early.

That can depend on where you actually sit in the sections.

I was so excited to see this new show when we went in May -unfortunately didn't like it at all. To me, it was boring -I kept waiting for something to happen, but nothing didi. If I could have turned back the clock I would have skipped it for something else...anything else.

ROL was one of our favorite of the evening spectaculars. I liked HEA better but ROL was at the top of my husband's list. I think it's definitely worth seeing but I don't think dining package is necessary. We had a FP but I'm not even sure that was really necessary. On the other hand we really enjoyed Tusker House too.
