You have to cancel and rebook, since they are two different things. But the real reason why the CM couldn't help you is probably because the only times available for the ROL package lunches and dinners (they start at 11:30am). So if you're wanting to keep breakfast, that's likely why.

I booked a breakfast ROL package today for May. My original ressie was for 10:45am and I had to make this one for 10:35am...close enough for my original "brunch" plan!

Yes, when I first got on the phone with the CM there was a 8:45 available, and during our conversation it moved to 9:45. As a package. However, that defeats my early breakfast and I don't want to miss touring time at breakfast. The CM said slots were going fast, so depending on what time you called, they may have already "sold out" of the breakfast slots.

Even though you called as soon as the package was available, it's a long time since the 180 day mark, and there's only 1 inventory of tables for both the package and regular dining. Is a non-package PPO ADR available that day? That could give us an answer.

I actually think it was a glitch on the app. Because now it's showing me breakfast times on my computer. I literally had my pick of times for 4 different days (on 3 trips: February, May and June), so I don't think it was sold out then. Just a glitch, which isn't remotely unusual!

Edited to add: I didn't call. This was on the app at 6am.

We are a party of 7 going in June and I was able to book the dining package for dinner. I had no clue that there was even dining packages available for this until I read it on the DIS, and since we already were eating at Tusker House anyways, I went ahead and got the dining package and cancelled my existing reservation. I am so excited to see this new show .

Have fun! I only knew because I saw it show up online yesterday but it was unbookable. So I figured it might start today and I set my alarm for 6am specifically to check lol. Can't wait to see it!

I booked mine. Depending on how the viewing area looks I may or may not keep it. When we saw the Jungle Book with a Dining Package the viewing area was horrible for the Dining Package people.

this concerns me. How bad was the view. Do you think there is a chance they move it. I dont need to spend the extra money for bad seats. Ill fp it instead.
