ROL dining pkg...any benefit to 2nd show?

A second show of ROL has been added since I made my original reservations. I currently have the ROL dining package for the first show. Looks like I can still cancel this reservation and get another Tusker ressie for the same time. I'm assuming that this new reservation would be for the second show (I could be wrong). But before I do this, is there any benefit to the second show with the dining package? Maybe I can line up later? Less of a crowd, so better seats? Is it worth changing at all? TIA

Incorrect. Mine is set for show 2.

How far in advance did you make your reservation? I just assumed that due to capacity of the first show, then the addition of another show, they would fill the first then the second.

I believe it was 40-60 days out. If I remember correctly you can always ask at the restaurant for show 2 tickets instead of show 1.

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that. Well regardless, I'll have no problem making this switch since worst case scenario would be getting the same first show. I could see the benefit of heading to the second show for standby, but wondered if there was any with the dining pkg.

I had the ROL dining package booked for mid/late June. It said second show but there was only one show that night. I called to see what time the second show was. CM looked and looked - even asked a supervisor and never found the time. Because - there was only one show. So don't be surprised if the first show and the second show are the SAME show.

When I booked, there was only one show (and it said 1st show on my reservation). Now there are definitely two shows.
