"ROL" Dining Packages to Begin 5/1? Pricing info/"FTB" too ?

I would doubt they change the entitlements required for existing packages mid-year, meaning the F! packages for MM and H&V. The DDP contracts are set for the year, and even for owned restaurants there's a contract and changing contracts mid-contract is rare.

However, ROL are a new package, and they may start out at 2 credits. New packages, thus new contracts.

According to the posted quote, yes for Tusker House, no for Flame Tree. NO official word as to how many credits for Tusker.

According to a CM at Disney dining ---- no word on when packages would be available to book --- so far just TH lunch and dinner confirmed --- will be accepting DDP and this CM thought price was around $44

The demand for some new restaurants is so great that Disney tries to alleviate some of that pressure by making the establishment out of pocket only. Tiffin's is going to be in high demand due to the lack of signature restaurant at AK. In truth it's a way for Disney to milk even more money from you.

If demand isn't as great as they had hoped for then the DDP will be bolted on sooner.

Looks like packages will start on 5/1 -- ( did not see any booking date yet) and " Flame Tree BBQ" will also be an option ( with "Tiffins" the 3rd option most likely)

Your seats are not assigned. Rather, you choose your seats within the reserved section on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Rivers of Light Dining Package is available on all Rivers of Light show days. There may be multiple shows on the same day and your dining reservation will indicate which show you are booked for. We are on the dining plan and don't want to pay cash for any meals. Tusk House food does not appeal to us.

Hope FT package is covered under the dining plan. Wondering if you have to reserve for FT?

Going in August and AK hours are still show 8-5.

Rivers of Light is delayed indefinitely. This is an old thread. Starting that weekend there will be a replacement show, Jungle Book. Probably FP but probably not dining packages. Disney Parks Blog mentioned more info coming May 20th.
