I tried digging around but couldn't find the info, I am wondering if anyone could tell me what does the "normalized price" mean in the https://www.dvcrofr.com/ mean and how its calculated?

The normalized price for some sold listing are significantly lower than the actual sold price. I am curious to see how that's calculated. Thanks

Already a direct DVC member at VDH, but quickly realized our plans to book around Christmastime each year for VGC could only be accomplished by buying into VGC via resale as waitlisting was not productive. Hoping all goes well so I can book my December 2025 trip in January.

Are you saying there's Poly arbitrage to be had by buying direct then stripping and flipping?

This was our plan when buying VGF last year. We bought more than we needed to get a better incentive with the thought to sell off a small contract once it was sold out...apparently we didn't buy more than we needed and won't be selling anytime soon. Oops!

Just under 30 days for ROFR, but for us worth the wait. We've wanted this resort since 2022 when Disney took a contract in ROFR with a price of 165. This worked out better for us because we now have more points and OCT is really the best UY for our family. Now to get to work to plan vacation time.

I wouldn't be nervous. My guess is that it's all hands on deck getting ready for the Poly Tower sales. If my memory is correct, the same thing happened the weeks leading up to the sales of VDH.

The whole market is slow right now. My saved search on the front-end of the process hasn't seen a new listing in 12 days.

Unless things speed up in ROFR, everyone else's contracts currently seem to be taking anywhere from 26-31 days to pass. So yours might come in 10/14? Unless you got an amazing deal on the few resorts that are currently being taken, you should be okay. 1/3 of your waiting has hopefully passed. Good Luck!

Ooohhh, congrats, I'm waiting on my first contract, also BLT that was submitted on 8/31...
