We plan to keep it and pass it to our daughter. We do have 200 Poly points but would like to add on more with another resort. What would be your go to right now for sleep around points?

Thanks for watching! - I think its worth looking beyond OKW and Saratoga, depending on how long you plan to be an owner. So many factors play into the decision (dues, years on contract, etc.), so the best option is unique for each individual. When we bought two years ago Poly made the most sense for 175 points because pricing had dipped at the time to $130pp. Now its a different story and we'd probably look elsewhere.

Hi Paul! We just bought at CCV and did alot of our research watching DVCFAN. Love watching you guys both old and newer shows.

My question is do you ever find that people can do so much research, feel they are getting enough points for their family based on that research, but then they get those points and start to plan trips and find it doesn’t seem to be enough? Is this how addonitis starts? Or did I just not research something correctly 🤣.

In new news for my recent purchase. I was moving and didnt open my copies of closing docs when I got them 3 weeks ago. There was a check in there for overpayment. $1500. Disney still says dues are paid. Mind blown. $90.18pp for my Aul-S.

Moral of this story... open your closing docs copies that get mailed to you even if you also got them by email.
Cool stuff!!!

Welcome, it’s contagious and there is no known cure!

24 days and I just received the: "Congrats, Disney Vacation Club has waived your contract and has issued the Estoppel certificate in one fell swoop!" email
Small Grand Floridian September use year contracts are rare and hard to find so I was thrilled to find this one. Now I just need to sell my 50 point June use year Old Key West contract to offset this new one pixiedust:

Generally speaking I agree with you... that said, the board sponsor has several small contracts that have been sitting on the market for MONTHS... Their prices are clearly not palatable to buyers....

Did not feel like a great deal after seeing so many get great deals but happy to have the June UY points and more vacations. Good luck to everyone else.
Future you will be happily on vacation forgetting past you hoped for a slightly better deal. Getting the resort, use year, and amount of points you need should be celebrated!

Congrats! I think more eyes are focusing on BLT with the newly refurbished room and the decent cost per point over time. You will be happy you snagged it.

I am waiting on ROFR for BLT too! Hoping to hear this week. See you there :)

I was hoping to buy before renovations to see if deals would be there but feel BLT offers tons of value. Looked hard at Poly but having all my points in BLT gave us better flexibility I felt for future one bedrooms. Glad others are fans like we are and best of luck to you.

We honestly hadn't given BLT much thought in the past, but when we wanted to add on some SAP, we ran numbers and saw it was a good deal. Add in the new refurb (we are a fan) and the walkability to MK, we were sold. Now it is looking like these will be less of SAP and we might have to buy something else for that! hahaha.

Yeah that's what I believe too. It's not my favorite but it's hard to not feel satisfied with what you get far as dues, contract length, location, and cost. I like Boardwalk but at my age it doesn't make sense. Most affordable monorail loop resort is ideal for us. Love walking from hotel.

Although sometimes there's a specific Resort and Points in a Use Year nobody is looking for at that time, or there were four put on the market at once, so a glut of that contract type for a bit (as you know, that happens when somebody buys 4x50 instead of a 200 from Disney, then sells all four at once later). While another Use Year for $30/pp more is grabbed up in a day. Some of it is the luck of the draw and not the price in Resale ;) I've happily paid more than the "going rate" for a small contract in a Use Year I wanted - just happy to not need to check all the sites a dozen times a day lol.

There's no known doctor or cure for this yet outside Derek DeBoer... We've added on five times it that makes you feel any better. Lol

I would be curious to know if there's any seller locations that ROFR favors. I know they don't scoop up international for whatever reason, but my AKV sellers are from Celebration, FL which seems to close for comfort 🤣🤣
