First time DVC buyers that have been thinking about buying DVC for some time. We got a major case of add-on-itis after we started buying and could not pass up the POLY. Pulled off a VERO at 30 and we want to use for the 3 Bedroom Beach Cottages so 11 months matter. Plan on Disneyland/Aulani joint trip every other year. Was able to complete our Disney vacation house faster than we thought.

There were 4 total and all have passed ROFR. The other lowest one from that seller was at $112 per point and was posted on here by that buyer.

Brilliant, what’s your total points for PVB if you don’t mind me asking? I recently closed there too and was made up to add 100

Not to mention $12k in dues per year.

It’s all about expenses relative to free cash flow.

A country club will cost you $12k/yr in dues…. but 1262 DVC points is probably a lot more fun for the family…. and you can cash out down the line if you want to.

We will have a total of 275 points at PVB. A few more than we were going to actually target as we were thinking around 200 eventually but the deal was too good to pass up so took the 275. We are probably done buying WDW but still stalking either Dec or Subsidized Aulani (at the right price) for a few more points. We have not closed on 1 contract yet (new buyers to DVC or timeshares at all) but the Riviera is to close this week. Our side has been done and paid but have been waiting for the online Notary for the Sellers on that one which is the 1st to close.

I am aware that this is not the best price. But I want to get a contract closed before the 11m booking window for my 2025 Spring Break trip and desire more points than the 125 contract that is in the process of closing. It was also important for me to match the Use Years….

I made offers on a number of BC/BW contracts, but it seems the reasonably priced small contracts go almost instantly and the ones that are around have sellers who want to hold on for top dollar…. which is their prerogative.

I have been monitoring since and have not seen a March UY 80-100pt BWV while checking other UYs in the same range and nothing really beats my price. BWV sellers are unwavering unless you find a unicorn or buying 200+.

I blew it with a 25pt that was only asking $115, & i asked if they would split the fees. By the time they got back to me it was... Sold. lol

I'm kicking myself over that 32 point BRV contract I should have just offered more on. But at the time I was still in the process of convincing my husband we need more BRV points. I think he's fully on board now (just for a small additional amount), so that's a plus!
