A Canadian living near the border could simplify by finding a notary in the States, no?
Yes that would be an option.A Canadian living near the border could simplify by finding a notary in the States, no?
Yes. It was announced as a stand alone resort. There’s a thread on it here:Fort Wilderness cabins will be DVC. Interesting. Would this be a brand new association?
Good luck!elenex---$245-$27800-110-VGC-Jun-0/22, 19/23, 110/24- sent 4/21
Hit this fadeaway right at the buzzer. *phew*
There are a few of us who submitted on 4/3 and 4/4 who are all still waiting.I also have a contract that I'm selling that might help this board with ROFR turn around timing and pricing. I didn't see it so I am assuming our buyers are not on here.

I’m just in process of selling and title company have specifically said Apostille not required?Yes that would be an option.
I did some of the same in the past too. I was on vacation in the U.S and just asked a random bank if they could help me notarize a few documents and they did.
Another time I visited WDW and was selling one of my DVC contracts I went to the title company office and signed the documents there in person.
But if you have no plans to visit the U.S during the time your are selling a contract then you need to either visit the U.S embassy or get the apostille.
They don't necessarily process the ROFRs in the order submitted. A year ago, I waited 40 days to hear if I passed ROFR. At the same time, several others heard back from ROFR in less time. Until they offer a lightning lane for ROFR, all we can do is wait. I'm happy that they're processing them much faster now. There are a few of us who submitted on 4/3 and 4/4 who are all still waiting.
I take it you are from the UK?I’m just in process of selling and title company have specifically said Apostille not required?
According to the US embassy in the UK you need to get an apostille if you don’t use a US notary public.I’m just in process of selling and title company have specifically said Apostille not required?
Thanks I’ll ask them again, looks like only a £30 fee for a Apostille so might just get it done anywayAccording to the US embassy in the UK you need to get an apostille if you don’t use a US notary public.

Totally get that. This is my 8th resale contract, so I've been through the good as well as the bad (45 days back in 2021). I was hoping we'd catch the same timing we saw a couple of months ago, when everything was going through in 5 or 6 days (I had one clear in 5 days), likely because it didn't matter what the resort was, use year, or number of points, everything was just being rubber stamped. Curious if the longer times mean they're taking a closer look again rather than just waving everything through. They don't necessarily process the ROFRs in the order submitted.
