**ROFR Thread 2015 July-December** Please read 1st post for instructions

I wanted to take a moment to thank "That's Nice" for keeping the thread going for the first half of the year. These threads make it easier to buy a contract and see the price point for ROFR and so on. I hope to do as good of a job at keeping this up as he did. I hope he doesn't mind me copying his intro post and by the same token copying the person before him LOL

IF YOUR CONTRACT WAS SENT FOR ROFR OR IF YOU PASSED ROFR feel free to add your info in this thread. As of (3/24/14) I will not add if your contract hasn't at least been sent. PLEASE FOLLOW THE FORMAT LISTED BELOW. If you do not follow this list, I cannot add your information to the chart.

I want to list: price/pt, total cost (include price/pt plus closing you pay, mf you pay and admin fee if you pay for a grand total), number of points, resort, use year (UY) and how many '13, '14, '15 and '16 points it comes with...then post when it went to ROFR and when you get results (come back and post date and result...like on the other thread).


Price/pt-total cost (see above paragraph)-# of pts-resort-UY-pts it comes with-when sent, when passed or taken

IF YOUR POST DOESN'T FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE, YOUR INFO WILL NOT BE ADDED!

You may include other details in your post, more specific details, if you like. But, also, please cut and paste the above example and then input your own data. I will copy to list in this first post. I am looking for any folks who, either, went to ROFR or got results on ROFR in the month of July '15 and forward even if you are in other thread already (just re-post here if you like). I will update (almost) daily.

Looks like the latest sent date we've seen pass ROFR is 6/6. We sent ours on 6/14, and despite telling myself that I'm not getting anxious this time about our add-on contract, I am getting a teensy bit antsy now at the 3 1/2 week point. It just seems very quiet. Maybe because of the holiday weekend?

So it looks like 3 weeks is the average amount of time for ROFR. This thread is very helpful as we will be sending off for ROFR very soon (within the next 2-3 days...Timeshare, Travel, & More is just waiting on our deposit check). They should alert the seller when they send off for ROFR, correct?

They will let you know (the broker should, anyway)!

The average for ROFR is about 26-28 days, but with the holiday, it's going to get pushed closer to 30 I think for the next month or so. They are so behind in everything that it's getting ridiculous.

You are just a day after us! Although they said ours was sent on June 14th which was a Sunday, so I don't know if that really counts or if it would really be the 15th. Hopefully we will both hear soon!

Yes, my first DVC purchase. I would say I'm now on pins and needles for Estoppel, but the contract can't close until 9/25 anyway, so... I'm in for a long wait.

Congratulations on your first purchase! We are newbies too. I guess now that you know you passed ROFR, you just have to sit back and wait. It will be worth it, though! On our first contract I was trying to book before it hit the 7 month opening, and when we started Estoppel was only taking 2 weeks. Then it hit the major slow down while we were waiting and I was big time stressed we weren't going to make it. Thankfully our title company agent and the sellers blew through the closing process at warp speed, so we were able to make our reservation for November with 2 whole days to spare! Whew! This time I'm trying not to care with our add-on. So far I'm mostly successful, but I would like to hear it's cleared ROFR.
