I'm on day 13..... Wondering how much longer.... Kristie at the Timeshare Store doesn't see any problem with the contract passing - so I'm not worried. Lots of OKW out there for cheaper! But we're trying to get to WDW on Sept 27!!! Yes, we cut this very close. We're just crossing our fingers our points will get in the system in time and that we can get a room! You know anyone I can kiss up to to make this go quicker?!?!?

We're waiting on OKW. Contract has been with Disney since July 30th. It seems fair...there are cheaper OKW resales out there still. BUT...who knows???

but contract just went to disney yesterday (8/9) so i've got awhile
its an okw resale ... hopefully they wont be interested

We're waiting on a VWL contract that was submitted to Disney on 7/30. September use year, 370 banked points, 370 available September 2004. We paid $71.90 pp, 2004 maintenance fees. and closing costs. Our main concern in passing ROFR is that we know there is at least one person on Disney's waitlist for Sept UY add-on points. Whatever happens, happens...

I also submited on 7/30 for OKW at 280 shares. there for 71.00pp but I paid closing and Maint. for 2004 because the points were banked. While I'm waiting for this, I got on the waitlist with DVC and they already called me back with OKW for 280 August use year. So if ROFR gets me then I guess I have something to fall back on.

Sounds like you are covered either way which is good to know! We already have 2 BWV contracts, so if the VWL contract doesn't make it through ROFR, so be it!

Yeah, except the resale contract has 2002 banked and 2003 banked with 2004 to come in Dec. Therefore I'll be losing a lot if I don't get it, plus at basically 13 dollars per a point more after closing then I'll be paying a lot more.

Just passed ours - $72 ppt. for BCV. 270 pt. contract. Woo hoo! We pay MF and closing. Submitted on 7/20 heard after 14 business days. (Last Friday.)

Hoping to make reservations for our upcoming stay in the World Sept. 16-19... we're also cutting it close! We need to bank our pts. by Aug. 31st if we want full credit, which, of course, we do!
